Why Texture Matters
The tactile alternative to flat paint.
Paint is flat. Even the most carefully chosen color sits on a wall without dimension, without depth, without anything for light to interact with as the day moves. Textured wallcovering changes that entirely.
Grasscloth, for example, is woven from natural grass fibers — each roll is slightly different, which means your walls have a handcrafted quality that no two homes share exactly. In morning light it reads warm and golden. In the evening it deepens. It is a living material in a way that paint simply is not.
Beyond grasscloth, we carry linen-backed papers, woven jute, embossed dimensionals, and boucle-inspired textures. Each brings a different quality to a room — some absorb light and create intimacy, others catch it and add quiet luminosity.
One practical note: natural fiber wallcoverings like grasscloth are not ideal for bathrooms or very humid spaces, as moisture can affect the fibers over time. For those rooms, we carry textured vinyl alternatives that give you the same visual warmth with better moisture resistance.

Materials We Carry
Textured Wallcovering Types
Grasscloth
Woven from natural grass fibers onto a paper backing, grasscloth has a warm, organic texture that photographs beautifully and ages gracefully. Each roll is slightly different, which gives walls a handcrafted quality.
Linen & Woven Fabric
Fabric-backed wallcoverings with a soft, textile feel. They absorb light rather than reflecting it, making rooms feel quieter and more intimate.
Jute & Sisal
Coarser natural fibers with a more pronounced weave. Excellent for creating a relaxed, coastal, or organic modern aesthetic.
Embossed & Dimensional
Papers with raised patterns — from subtle linen textures to bold geometric reliefs. The pattern is built into the paper itself, not printed on it.
Boucle & Bouclé-Inspired
Soft, looped textures that mimic the look of boucle fabric. A current favorite for primary bedrooms and living rooms.
Metallic Textured
Papers that combine texture with a metallic sheen — not flashy, but quietly luminous. They shift with the light throughout the day.
